The Church where, in 1824,John and Sarah Price were married, Beguildy, Wales. It is now an Episcopalian Church, called "Parish Church of St. Michael and All Angels, Beguildy." Note entrance way on, I believe, south side of building. |

Puzzling corner stone of the Church, which is clearly engragved 1895--certainly looks more modern than the surrounding stone...Doris Collinge stated in her trip report that Church records indicated it was built in 1665. |

View of graveyard on south east side of Church |

Beguildy Church, south side. Note corner stone on lower left side....dated 1895....????? |

Beguildy Church, north side. In this photo, gravestones can't be read. |

Northwest side of Beguildy Church. Many Price's were buried here, of unknown relation to "us." |

Sample Price tombstone, dated 1917. |

This is a "Pryce" tombstone, dated 1921--so Price's of both spellings coexist here in Beguildy. |
![]() |
Very old, ill-kept grave of a Richard Price, extreme western end of site, date so indistinct I couldn't read it. |

Since Sarah's maiden name was Williams, I include a possible relative... taken at the Beguildy Church |

Plaque on wall of entrance to Beguildy church; note Vicars back to 1665.Note Richard Hamer, Vicar from 1807-1852; a Richard Hamer is on the marriage certificate found by Doris Collinge in 1991. Nice to see that some things "hang" together. |

Trunk made of single log in Beguildy Church; also sited by Doris Collinge in her travel log. |

Letter posted in entrance way of Beguildy Church; note address of Church. |

Looking south from the Beguidy Church. It was a very dark day, but sheep grazing in a very southern Wisconsin landscape are apparent. |
